History |
From the sugar to the dried and frozen vegetables : the tradition of the Company IDA S.r.l. is an example of productive entrepreneurship in evolution, in adherence to the change of the markets and the consumptions. The origins go back to the end of the second world war: the founder, although doctor in business and economy, devoted him to the transformation of the agricultural products beginning with the production of the oil of cole-seed. |
 |
The shortage of sugar and the market demand converted the activity: in 1947 the IDA S.r.l. specialized itself in the production of sugar and sugary syrups through the workmanship of the beet-roots. Following the block of Berlin the IDA s.r.l. participated in the aerial restocking of the city with the production of dried vegetables: cabbages, onions and carrots. Subsequently the production was concentrated on the dehydration of beet-root as substitutes of coffee. |
|
| The increase of the prices of raw materia induced the IDA s.r.l. to renew its own production with sectors that still today they characterize the activity of the enterprise. In particular was launched with success the new line of the flours of vegetables to start from the flour of spinach, destined to the preparation of the green pasta. |
| In 2005 the IDA s.r.l. inaugurates the factory of San Giuliano Nuovo (Alessandria) with the longest and modern line for the dehydration of leaves vegetables never built in Europe, that allows to realize productions "made in Italy" that the IDA s.r.l. exports in over 36 countries of the world! |
